CROSSROADS VOLUNTEERS:

The steps to becoming a volunteer are:

• Download the application, questionnaire, and background check form, or contact us and we will send them to you.  All forms can be emailed to us with the exception of the background check as we must have your original signature.
• On the application, we will ask you for the names, addresses, & phone numbers of some references. Please write down the names of those you can count on to respond to a reference request.
• We also ask that you provide us with proof of your liability insurance and a copy of your drivers license.
• After we receive the application, we will begin the background check process. The background check will be done at the local, state, and national level.
• You will be asked to come to a training class.

Once these steps have been completed you will be assigned to a caseworker and a child will be matched with you.
