CROSSROADS VOLUNTEERS:

The steps to becoming a volunteer are:

• 1. Download an application, or contact us.
  
• 2. On the application, we will ask you for the names, addresses, & phone numbers of some references. Please write down the names of those you can count on to respond to a reference request.
• 3. We ask that you provide us with proof of your liability insurance.
• 4. After we receive the application, we will begin the background check process. The background check will be done at the local, state, and national level.
• 5. We conduct an interview with you where we ask you some more detailed questions about your interest in volunteering.
• 6. You will be asked to come to a training class

Once these steps have been completed you will be assigned to a caseworker and a child will be matched with you.
